SurveyCircle is very practical, especially because I was able to spread the recruitment effort over a longer period of time, as I had already collected points over several weeks in advance. This took a lot of stress off me during the actual survey phase, as recruitment via SurveyCircle ran more or less in parallel and I didn't have to spend any additional time on it. In total, I recruited 250 people via SurveyCircle and recruited around 250 people elsewhere at the same time. This brought me to around 500 people within 12 days. I would not have been able to achieve this in such a short period of time otherwise. The SurveyCircle team was also easy to reach if I had any questions and always provided friendly support. My only minor criticism is that the estimated processing times for the studies were often too long, at least for me. Since I finished faster than expected, I received several warnings. However, I don't know how this could be avoided. After all, pointless clicking should be avoided. In my case, I had no choice but to work through the studies much more slowly in order to collect the points.

This website was really helpful to find people for my target audience. I'll admit I had to do many surveys to get to the top (about 100 of them), but this system worked better in my opinion that the "karma" system on SurveySwap, where you constantly had to complete surveys to gain points, which were then taken from you. At least on SurveyCircle I kept the points I earned. Within a week I got 100 participants, I'll clean my data soon and see how many are usable. I noticed some of them were not filled in properly, but customer service was very helpful and quick in replacing the slots I had left.

Nearly all responses were thoughtful and thorough, with less than 10 (out of 200) deemed invalid due to careless responding. And SurveyCircle readily reimbursed me for those duds! In my opinion, the likelihood of poor-quality data does increase, but even after filtering out a lot of data points, I still benefited significantly from SurveyCircle.

Safety measures are also set in place to ensure quality responses. Highly recommended. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that direct emails tend to take a while to get a response, however contact through the website itself is fast.

While the website might seem a bit outdated and text-heavy at first glance, it’s easy to use and serves its purpose well. You might notice that longer or denser questionnaires don’t always perform as well. Since many users are trying to earn points quickly, shorter and more engaging surveys tend to get better results. But that’s something you can work around with good design. Once you’ve earned enough points, the process becomes much more efficient and less time-consuming than trying to recruit through Facebook groups or other manual methods. SurveyCircle is an excellent tool that's easy to use. I wanted to top up my participant numbers and I got good quality responses and a larger number of responses than I expected. I've enjoyed completing other people's surveys and contributing to research through mutual support. The customer service is very good and the marketing support to raise awareness of your survey is an added bonus.
Legitimate Honestly, really helpful and gave many options to have a greater outreach. To get the necessary respondents, it did take a while, for me personally I filled out around 90 surveys.

Great experience advertising my survey on this platform. I managed to recruit 100 participants quite easily, you just need to take a lot of surveys to climb up in the ranking. And I liked the fact you could actually choose which surveys to take part in. One thing that could be improved for data integrity would be to only show users surveys they are actually eligible for, maybe by using a pre-screener, but still great concept. Also, customer service is absolutely superb! Thank you!

Great platform for collecting data and also great support at all times! I got the majority of my data (n=178) in two weeks using SurveyCircle by being ranked under the top 20 and the survey was 10-12 minutes. I think it is probably harder to get participants with surveys that take more time to finish. It was also helpful to participate in other surveys to get "inspiration" for my own survey. I can recommend to get family and friends to support in order to get more points. I think as some participants only want to collect a lot of points in a short time, the data quality should be tested (eg with test question).
Definitely recommend SurveyCircle to researchers collecting online data. It's easy to use, the staff is quick to respond to emails and it's a great way to collect data.
