SurveyCircle has been a life saver for me. I am glad I stumbled upon it. I had been sending out emails to various different groups on LinkedIn and Facebook on my own for 2 months. Absolutely no one responded. Of course there are so many scams out there, I can’t blame them. Once I joined SurveyCircle and participated by taking others’ that I was qualified for, I FINALLY started getting participation. As you participate in surveys, your own starts moving in the rankings. it is so exciting and exhilarating. As you move up in the rankings, you get the opportunity to have your survey posted officially on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and LinkedIn…and all those social networking sites, many of which I never thought about joining. I don’t want to date myself, but……SurveyCircle is da bomb!! JLH

While the website might seem a bit outdated and text-heavy at first glance, it’s easy to use and serves its purpose well. You might notice that longer or denser questionnaires don’t always perform as well. Since many users are trying to earn points quickly, shorter and more engaging surveys tend to get better results. But that’s something you can work around with good design. Once you’ve earned enough points, the process becomes much more efficient and less time-consuming than trying to recruit through Facebook groups or other manual methods. Great experience advertising my survey on this platform. I managed to recruit 100 participants quite easily, you just need to take a lot of surveys to climb up in the ranking. And I liked the fact you could actually choose which surveys to take part in. One thing that could be improved for data integrity would be to only show users surveys they are actually eligible for, maybe by using a pre-screener, but still great concept. Also, customer service is absolutely superb! Thank you!

Such a big help! Great tool, especially for students. If you put in the work, your ranking will increase plus you're gaining inspiration for your own project. Works perfectly as a way to procrastinate writing your thesis while still feeling productive, too. ;) The support is friendly and helpful. I gained 100 participants for free for my Bachelor and Master Thesis combined. 100% recommend to give it a try.

Great platform for collecting data and also great support at all times! I got the majority of my data (n=178) in two weeks using SurveyCircle by being ranked under the top 20 and the survey was 10-12 minutes. I think it is probably harder to get participants with surveys that take more time to finish. It was also helpful to participate in other surveys to get "inspiration" for my own survey. I can recommend to get family and friends to support in order to get more points. I think as some participants only want to collect a lot of points in a short time, the data quality should be tested (eg with test question).

250 praticipants - took the stress out of recruitment. SurveyCircle is very practical, especially because I was able to spread the recruitment effort over a longer period of time, as I had already collected points over several weeks in advance. This took a lot of stress off me during the actual survey phase, as recruitment via SurveyCircle ran more or less in parallel and I didn't have to spend any additional time on it. In total, I recruited 250 people via SurveyCircle and recruited around 250 people elsewhere at the same time. This brought me to around 500 people within 12 days. I would not have been able to achieve this in such a short period of time otherwise. The SurveyCircle team was also easy to reach if I had any questions and always provided friendly support. My only minor criticism is that the estimated processing times for the studies were often too long, at least for me. Since I finished faster than expected, I received several warnings. However, I don't know how this could be avoided. After all, pointless clicking should be avoided. In my case, I had no choice but to work through the studies much more slowly in order to collect the points.
